Media Booking Disclaimer

Thank you for choosing Isla-Alexander. To ensure the highest quality results, please read and acknowledge the following disclaimer. This document outlines common issues that may arise during the shoot and provides solutions to help achieve the best possible outcomes.

Potential Issues and Solutions

1. Strobing in Videos

Issue:
Strobing occurs when certain types of lighting (e.g fluorescent, LED) interfere with the video frame rate, resulting in flickering or banding effects.

Solution:
Pre-Shoot Check: Ensure all interior lights are compatible with video recording. Incandescent lights normally give off a steady light source. This makes them less likely to flicker. Replace problematic lights with those designed for video use.

Natural Light: Utilize as much natural light as possible by opening curtains and blinds.
Lighting Adjustments: Our team may adjust or turn off certain lights to minimize strobing during the shoot.

2. Weather Conditions

Issue:
Weather can significantly impact the quality of exterior photos and videos, with overcast skies, rain, or excessive wind leading to less desirable results.

Solution:
Flexible Scheduling: Consider scheduling the shoot with flexibility to accommodate optimal weather conditions.

Rescheduling: We offer a free rescheduling option in case of adverse weather conditions. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if the forecast predicts unfavorable weather.
Interior Focus: If the weather is unfavorable on the day of the shoot, focus can be shifted to interior shots, with exteriors rescheduled.

3. Property Preparation

Issue:
Cluttered or unprepared spaces can detract from the visual appeal of the photos and videos.

Solution:
Declutter: Ensure all rooms are tidy, free of personal items, and any unnecessary objects.

Staging: Consider professional staging to enhance the property’s appeal.

Landscaping: Ensure the exterior is well-maintained, with lawns mowed and gardens tidied.

4. Occupant Presence

Issue:
The presence of occupants or pets can interfere with the shoot, causing delays and distractions.

Solution:
Vacate the Premises: Arrange for occupants and pets to be away during the scheduled shoot time.

5. Access Issues

Issue:
Lack of access to certain areas of the property can limit the scope of the shoot.

Solution:
Key Access: Provide keys or access codes for all areas of the property, including outbuildings and garages.

Clear Instructions: Ensure any special instructions for accessing the property are communicated with your agent beforehand.
